In the new year, blueBanksia will be expanding to include all art short courses, resources and events for visual arts, writing, music, digital media & production as well as theatre & drama.
To start you thinking about other creative arts courses, this month we focus on Into the Blue - CHOIR TASMANIA - EAST COAST.
Into the Blue views wilderness as a place in which to explore a range of human activities. Their Lifestyle and Creative programs take your passion or special interests and weave it into a fascinating journey. Remarkable things happen on Into the Blue trips.
CHOIR TASMANIA - EAST COAST 17 - 24 March 2012
This program combines singing, walking and nature into one exquisite week. The program features delightful easy grade walking, magnificent food, a stunning cruise along the Tasman Coast, a visit to the revolutionary Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) Gallery, accomodation that ranges from the quirky, the historic to the Edge of the Bay eco-lodge.
Woven into the trip are daily choir sessions with Tony and impromptu concerts in iconic places such as Mt Field and Mt Wellington, the Tasman Peninsula, Freycinet and Wineglass Bay. Following on from Into the Blue's Desert and Outback Choirs, Choir Tasmania-East is the first of accomodation-based Choirs, allowing this wonderful collaboration between Tony Backhouse and Into the Blue Creative Walks to access new and exciting places in which to sing, walk and enjoy.
