Fibre Arts Australia unlocks the very exciting world of fibre/textile arts...

Glenys Mann, founder and owner of Fibre Arts Australia has organised a huge line-up of massive talent from all over the world and Australia. Fibre Arts Australia brings only the best in the world to share their knowledge with you and will present outstanding workshops and lectures at the following events!
Paper Arts @ The Winter School – Ballarat, Victoria
10th – 16th July 2011
This event is slightly different …. Instead of having a mixture of fibre/textile workshops, Glenys has designed this particular series of workshops that deal with paper ONLY….
Paper making, printing, lithographs, collage, artists books, assemblage, boxes, story telling with print and paper, encaustic… you name what can go on paper and it will be in these workshops. The event will be a more intimate affair, with the cosiness of Ballarat in the winter, great company and fabulous food and “Mulled” wine… it will all be there. Tutors are:

Cloth Art @ Hawkesbury, NSW 25th September - 1st October 2011

Held at the University of Western Sydney, Richmond campus - situated on the north-west side of Sydney, near the historic town of Windsor. Set in a large rural setting this venue offers great facilities with a feel of living in the country when you are only 45 minutes away from the middle of Sydney.
