I would like to introduce you to a new creative space out there for the offering – Bunginderry Artist Camp.
Bunginderry is a working sheep and cattle station. It is owned by the Tully family – pioneers of the Quilpie area. Farming practices are not intensive and only brush the original environment lightly. The country is arid and breathtaking in its simple raw beauty. 90,000 hectares (180,000 acres) of varied ecosystems offer a wide range of landscapes, flora, fauna, birds and insects. Think red dirt and wide open skies buzzing with wildlife. Sandstone cliffs and gorges, open Mitchell grass claypans, shady tree-lined channels, rock holes, mesas, sandhills and open gidyea, mulga and boree country – everyday offers variety.

It is unique because:
- Working groups of all shape & sizes are welcome to experience the arid lands of Australia.
- No distraction of daily life, mobiles, traffic, work...open air for in-depth thought.
- Annabel Tully, renowned contemporary landscape artists, shares her homeland, art practice and way of life.
The latest schedule for tutored workshops at Bunginderry Artist Camp is now available in blueBanksia's Events Calendar PLUS they are now taking bookings for small groups to work and be immersed in the wide & varied ecosystems of ‘Bunginderry’ station, in the arid Channel Country of western Queensland.
All artists are welcome including visual artists, thinkers, poets, writers, bird watchers, musicians, jewellers, photographers…the list is endless. Anyone who wants a quiet, yet inspirational place to work…Bunginderry Artist Camp is perfect.
