Over the week, there will be four day and two day Artists' Workshops, a unique al fresco Poets' Breakfast (Saturday morning), the Bikers' Art display, a Master Painters Exhibition, street entertainment, music, live performances and other attractions suitable for all the family situated in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

We offer artists, writers, and photographers, from novice to professional, the opportunity to engage creatively with some of the most inspiring locations in Central Australia.

Botanical Art External Course

Leonie is one of Australia’s leading botanical artists and an international tutor and author. The external course allows work to be completed from the comfort of home at an individual pace. It is suitable for absolute beginners or the experienced artist wanting to learn new skills.

Much more personal one-to-one tuition is gained than by attending a class and there are absolutely no time restrictions.

All Modules are sent with step by step demonstrations and examples to follow, along with detailed course notes and assignments to be completed.

The University of Southern Queensland's annual McGregor Schools have a well-established reputation as one of the premier residential, performing, visual and creative arts learning experiences in Australia. Over 700 participants converge on the USQ campus in Toowoomba for this School's popular residential arts retreats held in January and July and at the Fraser Coast campus in September. In 2010, the McGregor Schools will expand to offer a series of Workshops which combine a love of the Arts with an appreciation of wine - McGregor in the Vines.

Attend one week of art school with a choice out of 30 classes in a variety of media and styles taught by distinguished Australian artists. Held twice a year, summer and winter, in Bathurst at Charles Sturt University campus, classes range from contemporary to traditional and are suitable for beginners or advanced artists.

STURT promotes contemporary Australian craft and design at Mittagong, in the Southern Highlands of NSW, offering courses in contemporary craft, design and art throughout the year and week long programs in Summer and Winter.
